Food is essential to life, and also a wonderful facilitator for building relationships. Over a meal we have laughs, share stories, and grow closer. But this is surprisingly difficult when you spend much of your eating time playing “bad cop” with a bunch of malnourished street thugs, a.k.a. your kids. In the closing episode for this season we examine mealtime with 3+ year olds. Catch up with part 1, that focuses on newborn/toddler eating. Stream or download below.

Apparently children need to eat three times a day. Everyday. And apparently they are not born with the ability to feed themselves. Not cool life. Not cool.

So the task falls on us, and we’ve never been more annoyed. In this episode we look at feeding our babies. Infants to 3 year olds. We explore feeding 3+ year olds in part 2. Stream or download below.

We all know that keeping your kids safe should be a priority. While some of us may simply move sharp objects to a higher shelf, others may find comfort in dressing junior in a bubble wrap tuxedo. Whatever your childproofing standards are, we can all agree the toilet seat child lock is setting yourself up for an embarrassing failure…or triumphant victory involving pee in the sink. Stream or download below.

Here is our fourth episode. In hindsight we should have made it episode number 1 or number 2. That would have been apropos.

Potty Training. When encouraging you to have kids no one ever mentions that one day your socks will only function as urine mops. Training your kids to use the potty is a drag. But no one wants to send their 17 year-old to prom in Depends. Pop a squat and listen in as we drop some knowledge…among other things.

Thrashing about.

We’ve all seen it. A parent says no. A child falls to the ground, punching the earth with every one of his limbs like it’s a giant piñata that will give him the candy he so desires. But it’s not. He thrashes in vain. Though not entirely in vain. His parents still reap the benefit of this display. And that is what we’re tackling this time. Get ready for a fit.
